Let the Unity Decide

Another Thursday comes to an end.

I wish I could call it "finish", instead of "end". But any grammatical upper hand cannot approve this because that's not true and without truth any lingual expression is spineless.

Now, dear Reader I hope my beginning does not disappoint you. Even if it does, please bear with me, as that's the best we do once we start something in the real world. Don't we?
If a student goes for the Science stream, she is forced to take it till her funeral-pyre. If an Engineer wants to switch his job, he first has to move past an even stronger social and emotional "HODOR". If a Bride yearns for the kiss of the divorce paper instead, she is better taken care of by Chitragupta's accounts. Isn't it true?
But, you were always quite and I command the same to you even now.
Further, stay calm as none of the above is out of the context here.

So, coming back to my "Thursday" we see that it is less of an Individual's day and more of the Mass' life. People spent their entire life counting the paces from home to work and this commute brings about their transformation from a potential form of life to a social jerk.

People do not have control over their own lives. They are driven only by the virtues and vistas of others. The Others here maybe their parents, their teachers, their friends, their bosses, their pasts, their religions, their sects, their doodhwalas, their neighbours, their "Sharma ji", their pets favourite snack seller and every other noun that you can come across.
Isn't this hillarious that in a generation where the Population claims to be the most Modern, the sole idea of an individual has got lost. Even that Constitutional Vote now matters in numbers and not in names.

For a second if we agree to parents being the towering figure above us because of them being the True form of God in this Universe in most cases, even then how do we explain the interference of the other Others?

Sadly, we do not have an answer. We can give some explainations to earn browney points here and there but, ultimately the unfortunate truth has to sink in.

Today, in the age of the clash of ideologies we have lost the relevance of ideas and if ideas do not define an individual, what else does?

Learn to appretiate your child's choice of colours over numbers, learn to promote your daughter's success in a field of opposite-sex or your son's efforts to be better at tears than jeers, learn to accept the Next Generation's choice in Partner and learn to opt for "their" experience over your "youthful zeal".

We also, need to move from our tendency to impress the multiples and need to shift the onus on letting the individual express himself/herself. Unless the Shiv and Shakti meet at each unit level the chaos would always exist. Thus, letting the Unity decide is of utmost importance.

Time is less for our rectifications on Earth but, there is a ray of hope in the belief that maybe if we try to improve ourselves as a species, Mother Nature forgives us.

  1. Yes your words rightly depict the plethora of confusion and conflicts that we are going through But this is even true that until we decide to bring change in our mind nothing will change.Nicely expressed the worldly Aapadhabi.

    1. Thank you Ma'am and I am sure that changing the mindset would certainly work wonders for us. Let the light enter every mind then.
